We were delighted to welcome 200 friends and neighbors to
our garden on Mother’s Day.
It was a beautiful spring day as folks strolled the
garden,
visited with artists
and gathered gardening information from Master
Gardeners.
Darin’s classmates gathered on the front porch to reminisce
about their years at Calloway County High School and remember their fallen
classmate.
With sales from the auction and generous donations, over
$6500 was contributed to the J. Darin Loftis Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Randy and I appreciate living in a talented, giving
community. Thanks to friends that gave selflessly of their time and donors that
gave generously of their resources, the scholarship will soon be endowed and
Darin’s memory will be alive for a long time.
