What can you
expect to experience if you drop by with your mother after lunch on Mother’s
Day? Let me give you a glimpse.
First, you
will see the results of an eight year transformation of the Janne Garden from a
bare, uninteresting backyard
to an
exciting Cottage Style Garden.
Garden
Engineer, Randy, (aka known as my husband,) is looking forward to telling you
about his innovative projects such as the strawberry tower, self-watering pots
and compost system. Master Gardeners will be strolling about, eager
to answer your gardening questions. Throughout the garden you will find art
exhibits from some of the finest artists in the Paducah art community, and
beyond.
While you are
visiting with us, you will have an opportunity to accumulate some very fine
pieces of art and pick up a last minute Mother’s Day gift. Before you leave,
you will be invited to have a bit of refreshment.
Over the next
few weeks I will post photos of what you can expect to see at the Art in the
Garden event. The garden tour, art exhibit and refreshments are free. Proceeds
from purchases will benefit the J.Darin Loftis Memorial Scholarship Fund.
