describes the
beautiful “Breakaway” by Jeanne Rhea. Most local folks will remember this
accomplished mixed media artist as Jeanne Jarrett from Calloway County. After living in Alaska for 20 years, she now creates
art in Sanford, N.C.
“Breakaway”
was created with alcohol inks, acrylics and resin on cradled clay board. This is a must
see as photography cannot totally capture the colors and sheen of this exquisite
piece of art.
Additional
ink paintings, vibrant dye paintings, gorgeous ink dye jewelry, sculptures of
found objects, assemblages of vintage and antique pieces and much more can be
seen in Jeanne’s gallery at, www.jeannerhea.com.
Thank you,
Jeanne, for the donation of “Breakaway!”
